Welcome to the Training Area
The exercises are your German gym and you can access them through the Trainings menu.
Here you'll find a wide variety of interactive exercises designed to put into practice everything you learn in the library and consolidate your knowledge through repetition and intensive training.
What Types of Exercises Will You Find Here?
All exercises are organized by categories and CEFR levels (A1 to C2), accessible from the menu:
Vocabulary Training (A1 - C2)
Memorization and word recognition exercises organized by type (nouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs, prepositions, conjunctions) and by level. They include translation modes in both directions (German-English and English-German) and audio recognition.
Verb Conjugation Exercises
Practice conjugating regular, irregular, and separable verbs in all tenses and moods. The exercises adapt to your level and help you automate the most frequent conjugations.
Declension Exercises
Train the declension of articles, pronouns, nouns, and adjectives in the four cases (nominative, accusative, dative, and genitive). Essential for mastering one of the most challenging aspects of German.
Personalized Tools
Test Builder
Create your own personalized vocabulary tests. You can import word lists, select exercise types, and configure difficulty according to your specific learning needs.
Vocabulary Examiner
Upload your own vocabulary list and practice with it through interactive exercises. Ideal for preparing exams or reviewing specific vocabulary from your course or textbook.
How to get the Most out of the Exercises
The exercises are designed for intensive training and automation. It's not just about getting the right answer, but about repeating until the answers come automatically.
Recommendations:
- Practice in short but frequent sessions (10-15 minutes daily is better than one hour weekly).
- Don't move to the next level until you consistently master the current one (+75% correct answers or more).
- Combine vocabulary exercises with grammar exercises (conjugation and declension) for complete training.
- Use the pronunciation audio available in many exercises to also train your ear.
- Repeat the exercises you fail until they come out without thinking.
